John Paul Jones (JJ)

I received my first cycling instructor certificate in 1998 and hold certificates from British Cycling, Scottish Cycling, the CTC and Whistler Bike Park.

After graduating from the University of Sheffield I began working as a geo-environmental engineer but was pulled back into the coaching world by Whistler Bike Park and I haven’t looked back since.

I am a course conductor for The Instructor Development Program pioneered by Mike Johnstone (co-owner of TerraMethod, with Tom Radke) which was the in house training program At Whistler Bike Park for the last 15 years.

Im a huge advocate of developing mastery into the Fundamentals and creative play!

ALine coaching was founded in 2011 and grown every year since.
